“Ominous” represents the battle with our inner demons. Sometimes they creep into our lives unnoticed, affecting us in ways we may not fully understand. They can exist on a subconscious level, hidden until someone else helps us recognize what we cannot see within ourselves.

The button-eyed figure captures the moment when we finally realize how deeply the demons we’ve been fighting are affecting us — and those around us. That realization can feel overwhelming, even debilitating. It can leave us feeling powerless, as though we are reduced to nothing more than sitting in a corner, waiting and hoping for the darkness to pass.

It is an extreme depiction of an internal experience. Most of us do not express it physically, but many of us have felt it within our own minds.
